It was a pleasure!
U/S Days at Urban in Memmingen
Urban and Schirmer had invited us and many people were there. In addition to the exhibition and the celebration in the evening, the expert meeting was an important part of the extremely successful event. We are proud that our customer, Merschmann Fenster GmbH & Co. KG from Delbrück, was highlighted as a positive example of "man-less" production and that Achim Binder (Klaes Head of Technical Sales) was there for us.
The experts Hermann Deller and Michael Walther from Urban, Roland Vogt from Schirmer, Achim Binder and Manfred Merschmann were intensively questioned by the moderator Ingo Jensen (jensen media) about how this complete processing - from cutting to loading - came about with extremely little personnel requirements.
- All processings are complete, without manual rework. So in addition to the PVC processing, there is also automatic locking part setting and contour milling including HFL look and automatic stacking of the individual bars in compartment trolleys.
- The special feature of an oversized prefabricated parts buffer, which perfectly prepares the deployment of the 45 in-house fitters.
- Overall, a clear structure in the production line, i.e. no elements are left in the hall, instead each element is guided via buffers until it is loaded.
- Klaes supports this with eight e-prod stations with all the information that is displayed on oversized screens, thus optimally conveying the detailed work instructions in day-to-day business.
- Investments have recently been made in two new welding and cleaning lines from Urban (AKS 9600 Cut) with the option of zero joints. In addition, an Urban glass bonding system (Urban GVS) has been made, which provides a high-quality solution to the issue of room-high elements with narrow visible widths.
We congratulate Urban and Schirmer on this all-round successful event and thank them for allowing us to support them so actively. An exhibition machine was controlled with Klaes e-control and Klaes e-prod was running on 2 screens.
