Inspiring Digital Forum
First joint event by WAREMA and KLAES in Wertheim
The future is digitally interlocked, and that is exactly what became clear at the first Digital Forum of WAREMA and KLAES at the Sun Academy Wertheim. Under the inspiring motto "Simple. Secure. Digital.", participants from companies in the window construction and trade were offered important insights into the digital transformation of the industry.
The event began in the impressive Sun Academy with a warm welcome from Johannes Fuhrmann (WAREMA Head of Business Development Residential Construction) and Stefan Müller (KLAES Head of Sales/PR). The guests were introduced to the programme of the Digital Forum, which included the dovetailing of both houses, solutions for shortening workflows and other innovative tools. It was also discussed that the idea of a direct connection between window and roller shutter software already existed at the turn of the millennium, but that now (only) the infrastructure is so good that it works in real time with available technology.
Therefore, the first item on the agenda was also a highlight. Andreas Hudak (WAREMA Data Management) presented the unification of the two product worlds: the seamless collaboration of the KLAES window software with the WAREMA roller shutter and sun shading configurator. The configurator is integrated into the workflow of the KLAES solutions via the web and accesses the data "on demand". This not only allows the configuration of complete roller shutters, but also other WAREMA products as well as access to all individual and spare parts, which "end up" as independent items in the documents. At the same time, innovative input support in both solutions simplifies day-to-day business from the preparation of quotations to scheduling and delivery.
Torsten Schrader (KLAES Head of Sales/Marketing) provided a special "detailed view" of digitalisation. He presented very strikingly with comprehensible examples from practice how supposed trivialities hinder the workflow and unnecessarily prolong it. And how the right information management increases efficiency and permanently shortens workflows all the way to the construction site. On the way through the KLAES working worlds, he focused on important functionalities from the KLAES solutions Info Manager, cRM, e-prod, time recording and assembly planning.
Digitalisation along the entire customer journey was another focus of the forum. Leon Sock (WAREMA Trade Marketing) impressively presented the intelligent tools for online customer acquisition and qualification that they use to support their customers. These tools can be integrated on their own homepages and provide a real competitive advantage.
Ulrich Lang (WAREMA Business Development Architect Consulting) concluded the info block with the possibilities of BEG subsidies - and how the sometimes complex conditions can be easily checked with the digital WAREMA subsidy assistant. The grand finale of the eventful day was a look behind the scenes of the impressive WAREMA world. The tour led through the Sun Academy, the production areas and the gigantic central warehouse with self-propelled racking and floor vehicles - a total of a proud 160,000 m².
The WAREMA and KLAES Digital Forum at the Sun Academy Wertheim successfully communicated the benefits and opportunities of digital transformation. The participants left the event inspired and full of drive to implement the insights and innovations gained in their own companies and thus benefit as quickly as possible from the active collaboration and digital solutions of both companies.
