European wood windows and doors - made in Karachi!
Klaes customers in the world - Part 4
Karachi in Pakistan is one of the largest cities in the world. More than 14.9 million inhabitants live there. Compared to Berlin in Germany, where 3.7 million people live, that's more than huge!
And Karachi is the place of the Klaes customer WOODCORP! A company producing kitchens and european style wood windows and doors. Originally, WOODCORP made traditional windows and doors typically used in the region. However, these are not weather resistant. The weather in Pakistan is very harsh and humid. Some regions are cold and others are subtropical. Because of this, traditional windows and doors were not well suited for these circumstances.
In 2017, WOODCORP decided to start using the European style of doors and windows. Currently, the company offers lift-and-slide doors, outswing casement windows, inward-opening tilt-and-turn windows and exterior doors.
The Klaes IT solution helped the team get started with the new way of building European windows. The software manages costing, production and material requirements.
Abdul Rehman, the Design, Research and Development Manager about the company, "WOODCORP offers sustainable, high quality products that fits perfect for the harsh environment in all regions of Pakistan!"
We wish WOODCORP continued success with their business!
